Project Description

Higher-level handling! Last Monday, this Jaguar F-Type installed BONOSS Forged Active Cooling Wheel Spacers, front 15mm (0.6 inches), rear 20mm (0.8 inches), PCD 5×108, CB 63.4. Wheel spacers create an additional clearance between your wheel and the vehicle hub. An ideal distance between your car’s wheels quite actually makes it more stable. They also increase the traction during cornering and can allow you to add larger wheels. If your new wheels set up do not have the proper offset, it will cause the wheel to rub against the internal suspension components. (Wheels will stick in too much). You can also add larger brake kits, which is a great safety upgrade for your F-Type. (Thanks FFC for providing these pics)

The Jaguar F-Type is a high-praised luxury sports car, which is Jaguar design in its most athletic form — lean, and elegant from any angle. All the power and agility of a true thoroughbred. With potent driving systems perfecting a class-above experience. The style and presence of the F-Type differentiate it from any other car in its class. This is an extraordinary sports car, cannot find any ways to belittle it. Every turning, every speed up, every control is dynamic and energetic. Nothing feels impractical.

What are wheel spacers for?

The wheel spacer is a wheel accessory installed between the wheel hub and the wheel. It is designed to reposition the wheel outward from the wheel hub to solve the clearance problem of suspension components. They come in various thicknesses and dimensions, commonly used to widen the track of the vehicle, leading to more stability and better handling performance, which is why they are often used on many racing cars. They can also make a car look better by pushing the wheel away in a more visually aggressive position.

If you plan to install wheel spacers, we highly recommend hub-centric wheel spacers. If your wheels are lug-centric, hub-centric spacers are available to transform them into hub-centric wheels. Besides, they can make a snug connection between the vehicle hub and the wheel, meaning no vibration, odd noise from the wheel.

BONOSS Hub-centric Wheel Spacers

We recommend hub-centric spacers rather than lug-centric spacers. Most of the disadvantages that people associate with wheel spacers are actually blamed to lug centric spacers. Due to non-hub centric design, there is a certain gap between the axle and the hub, which means that the wheel is centered by the lug studs rather than by the vehicle hub. Without the firm contact, lacking the hub’s support, the studs play the role of bearing the road impacts. For some fierce impacts are strong enough to deform the studs, making the wheel no longer concentric with the hub, resulting in vibrations.

Additional Information:

  • BONOSS wheel spacer thickness can be customized flexibly, which is compatible with most vehicles. Thus, if you would like different sizes of wheel spacers, feel free to contact us. This Jaguar F-Type uses front 15mm (0.6 inches), rear 20mm (0.8 inches), PCD 5×108, CB 63.4.
  • The matching wheel studs are made of JIS SCM44o high-strength steel, which features many desirable properties such as high strength, wear-resistance, excellent toughness, impact resistance and high-temperature resistance. All BONOSS wheel adapter kits are matching with all necessary hardware components including wheel lug nuts or wheel bolts to suit your vehicle.
  • Each BONOSS product is printed with the logo of “BONOSS”. This offers an easy method to distinguish other fake and inferior products. At the same time, it also provides a way to find our after-sales service. Our products are 10 Years Limited Warranty (new products with 12 months warranty), which is an excellent and cost-effective choice for your car upgrades.
