Project Description

BONOSS Forged Active Cooling Wheel Spacers 25mm+25mm for Subaru WRX 8th (2)

Effective upgrade! Several days ago, this Subaru WRX 8th installed BONOSS Forged Active Cooling Wheel Spacers, front/rear 25mm (1 inch), PCD 5×114.3, CB 56.1. Wheel spacers bring your rims and tires outwards so that they can flush with the fender flares, giving your vehicle an excellent stance. Many car manufacturers will leave a certain amount of fender space for tire chains. And most track racing cars would make use of every millimeter of the wheel-wells space available in their design for the highest performance and the best exteriors. A wider wheel track means better traction, hence increasing body control experience. With spacers, you can fill the gap in your fenders and get a more aggressive and powerful look!

As the high-praised sports sedan, the Subaru WRX 8th is often modified by a lot of enthusiasts. One of the easiest ways to get a better stance and get a wide track as you start your modified build is to add wheel spacers. The avant-garde design, powerful performance, advanced tech features make this WRX 8th to be a great drive sedan that is as dynamic as it expresses. And the spacers enhance its exterior and make it outstanding among the crowd. (Thanks C+AUTO for providing these pics)

What are wheel spacers?

When the offset of wheels is insufficient, wheel spacers would make up the desired offset by pushing the wheels away from the vehicle hub. Having your wheel brought out the ideal distance allows for mounting larger brake calipers without wheel scratching. Hub-centric wheel spacers can make a snug connection between wheel and axle hub, transforming a lug-centric wheel (one that centers by fastening the wheel lugs rather than a hub-specific mounting surface) into a hub-centric wheel, meaning elimination of high-speed vibration. For decoration reasons, wheel spacers give your car a more aggressive exterior as well as a better aerodynamics body.

What is the benefit of side knurling design?

Knurling is a finishing procedure used to create any combination of horizontal, vertical, or crossing lines on the surface of components. BONOSS applied such process for enhancing both the exterior and function of wheel spacers. For decorative reasons, knurling can enhance the aesthetics of the wheel spacers by introducing an attractive pattern to the side surface. In addition to aesthetics, there are practical features. Knurling patterns can enlarge the side area so that it can contact more air, boost the heat dissipation effect, and also reduce internal stress. That means improving the performance, strength and durability of the spacers.
