High-level performance! Last Monday, this Porsche Cayman installed BONOSS Forged Active Cooling Wheel Spacers, front/rear 30mm (1.2 inches), PCD 5×130, CB 71.6. What do wheel spacers do? The wheel spacer is sandwiched between the car’s wheel and hub. By pushing the wheel away an ideal distance from the hub, it creates spaces between the wheel and hub. If your new wheels set up do not have the proper offset, wheel spacers can create extra clearance to push the wheels outward to correct the wrong offset. They are also commonly used for handling improvement and visual enhancement. By spacing the wheels out, it will provide more stability and better corner control to the vehicle. Knurling patterns can enlarge the side area so that it can contact more air, boost the heat dissipation effect, and also reduce internal stress. Dismounting Grooves Design for Better Installing Experience

Dismounting grooves means the small notches which are distributed on the corner of wheel spacers. It is designed to easily dismount the spacers, improving the user experience. Normally, it leaves a limited clearance between the axle plate and spacer, using a screwdriver can easily remove the spacers, simple and efficient. If there is no such groove, the spacer will snug the vehicle hub, by forces effect, it can be difficult to dismount. Even worse, you may destroy the spacers or axle hub. Furthermore, the grooves can act as an air collecting funnel, which is effectively increasing airflow, enhancing the heat dissipation effect.
