Project Description

Last Sunday, this BMW 3 Series F30 installed BONOSS Forged Lightweight Plus Wheel Spacers, front/rear 10mm (2/5 inch), PCD 5×120, CB 72.5 together with BONOSS Forged Grade 12.9 Extended Wheel Bolts. Why do wheel spacers do? By pushing out the wheel, you can gain a small amount of clearance for bigger wheels instead of rubbing against the fender. Having your wheel brought out ideal distance allows for mounting larger brake calipers without wheel scratching. These spacers and bolts are specifically designed to give your car better cornering, aerodynamics, and look. They match perfectly with the vehicle hub, due to the 0.02mm tolerance precise process. The BMW 3 Series F30 is one of the most popular luxury vehicles in the world, complete with compact dimensions, new styling, exquisite interior, comfortable seats, and expanded cabin. The F30 is powered by a new 2-litre four-cylinder engine, delivering 245bhp at 5000rpm, 258 lb-ft torque at 1250rpm, a direct six-speed manual transmission, offering smooth, sharp switch. The best bit with any 3 Series is how it drives, and BMW was always not to disappoint here. The steering is firm and precise, body control is brilliant and the handling is anything but pleasant.

Are wheel spacers bad for your BMW F30?

Exactly NO. Wheel spacers are a kind of wheel accessories which are used to create necessary distance on the inner portion of the wheel for clearance problem with brakes, tie rods and other suspension components. That means they allow for installing bigger wheels and tires as well as larger brake calipers without breaking the fender. When your wheels do not have enough offset. A wheel spacer will compensate for proper offset by pushing the wheel farther away from the vehicle hub. Besides, hub-centric wheel spacers can transform a lug-centric wheel (one that centers by fastening the wheel lugs rather than a hub-specific mounting surface) into a hub-centric wheel.

Why do you need extended wheel bolts?

Extended wheel bolts (also called longer wheel bolts, extended lug bolts) are designed with longer thread lengths to allow full thread penetration with wheel spacers or wider aftermarket rims of a different offset. Any time you run wheel spacers, extended wheel bolts are a must option to properly secure the wheel to the vehicle hub. Without the proper thread length, the stock lug bolts will not allow penetrating the vehicle hub threads completely which can cause car shaking or safety risk. BONOSS Forged Grade 12.9 Extended Wheel Bolts are all thoroughly tested and certified by SGS, TUV authoritative institutions, truly guarantee safety.

Addtional Information:

  • BONOSS wheel spacer thickness can be customized flexibly, which is compatible with most vehicles. Thus, if you would like different sizes of wheel spacers, feel free to contact us. This BMW 3 Series F30 uses front/rear 10mm (2/5 inch), PCD 5×120, CB 72.5.
  • The extended bolts are spacer structure design, which effectively eliminates the bolts loosening and abnormal sound caused by the PCD hole coaxially deviation between hub and shaft head. This BMW 3 Series F30 uses conical seat bolts. If you would like a set of extended bolts, please ensure the seat type of the bolts is suitable for threading tightly. And, if you don’t know the proper length, you are welcomed to contact our tech staff freely.
  • Each BONOSS product is printed with the logo of “BONOSS”. This offers an easy method to distinguish other fake and inferior products. At the same time, it also provides a way to find our after-sales service. Our products are 10 Years Limited Warranty (new products with 12 months warranty), which is an excellent and cost-effective choice for your car upgrades.
