Black Hard Coat Anodizing for Corrosion Resistance
Hard coat anodizing is a proven very useful electrochemical coating process that provides both predominant corrosion-resistance durability and an excellent exterior. The process provides the surface with better abrasion resistance, flame resistance, and smoother and harder finish protection than regular paint or metal plating. The black dye not only brings a premium appearance but also tends to be more lightfast. To be lightfast means that the colors will not fade as quickly. It is an ideal hard coating process for forged Aluminum wheel spacers which is the same as numerous high-performance industrial components.
Important Concerns for Lug Bolts Installation
The lug bolts need to be installed correctly, and they also must be properly torqued to manufacturer-recommended torque specs. This means making sure the wheel and hub are secured enough to where they don’t get loose. Untightened lug bolts (the clamping force is not enough) or overtightened lug bolts (the bolt has been stretched past its tensile strength limit, so the clamping force has gone away) will cause most lug bolt failures. Find a suitable balance in the level of tightness and the bolt will remain strong, providing the greatest possible force to lock the wheel to the hub. This ensures safe driving.
BONOSS wheel spacer thickness can be customized flexibly, which is compatible with most vehicles. Thus, if you would like different sizes of wheel spacers, feel free to contact us. This Audi RS3 uses rear 20mm (4/5 inch), PCD 5×112, CB 57.1.
The extended bolts are spacer structure design, which effectively eliminates the bolts loosening and abnormal sound caused by the PCD hole coaxially deviation between hub and shaft head. This Audi RS3 uses ball seat bolts. If you would like a set of extended bolts, please ensure the seat type of the bolts is suitable for threading tightly. And, if you don’t know the proper length, you are welcomed to contact our tech staff freely.
