Wheel studs are significantly easier to install than wheel bolts, which require a wheel hanger or alignment of the bolt holes. For customers who frequent the track for fun, it will save time changing tires and allow you to focus on the track.
Does BMW Wheel Stud Conversion Cost Less than Wheel Bolts?
BMW wheel stud conversion reduces the cost of modification in some scenarios. Wheel studs are semi-permanent fixtures that do not need to be disassembled, so if you replace aftermarket wheels with different seats, you only need to replace the lug nuts. Although most of BMW’s aftermarket wheels have conical seats, wheel stud conversion reduces the replacement cost. If you use wheel bolts, you must replace the whole set.
A similar situation occurs when installing wheel spacers, as the length of the wheel bolts is fixed, and longer wheel bolts are required to install slip-on wheel spacers. Are BMW Wheel Stud Conversion Safer than Wheel Bolts?

Titanium wheel stud conversions are more expensive than wheel bolts.
Using the correct torque will ensure that the BMW wheel stud conversion works properly, and if you prefer integrated wheel bolts, they are also feasible. Using Loctite on BMW wheel stud conversions or wheel bolts will not be safer. Many people will use blue or red Loctite on threaded engagements.
Any debris or fluid on the threads may affect the torque value. For example, for M14x1.25 threads, you need to apply 140 NM of torque; adding Loctite may require 145 NM of torque to ensure they are secured. Loctite will make it more difficult to remove wheel bolts at the curb, and it will have less effect on wheel studs, which are semi-permanent parts.
